The recent spending review has made it ever more challenging to secure access to funding. This session will explore how highways authorities are looking to plug this gap

• Additional revenue streams: EV charging points, moving traffic offences, lane rental, road user charging, filming fees, smart lighting, wifi, solar power, etc
• Secure outside funding, PFIs etc
• Doing more with less: If funding from DfT becomes more challenging, what will survive and what must be sustainable?
• Innovative future revenue streams, such as kinetic energy/other ways of generating energy or revenue from the streets.
