Film Presentation and Q&A: What is happening to the safety and accessibility at our bus stops in Britain?
15:20 - 15:50
Highways Theatre
Direct access to and from bus stops has been changing over a number of years to accommodate cycle lanes resulting in new barriers for safe accessibility for blind and visually impaired bus passengers. The film will show how the bus stop bypass design brings bus passengers and cyclists into conflict and why direct access to and from the bus from the pavement is required.
