Senior Transport Planner Mott Macdonald

Mark is a Transport Planner with 6 years of experience in business case development and appraisal, transport economics and transport decarbonisation. His time in consultancy has seen him being involved in a wide range of projects, from small scale active transport improvements, through to large multi-million pound investments in multi-modal travel hub facilities.

Mark has recently gained national recognition through his work in developing the West Yorkshire Carbon Impact Assessment approach, winning the CIHT Young Professional of the year. Through this work he has developed a true passion for the development of low carbon transport solutions, both in their delivery and operational capacity.

Outside of work Mark enjoys playing badminton and represents Yorkshire. He also enjoys being outdoors and is looking forward to taking his new puppy, Buddy, out to explore the hills of Yorkshire.
