Charlotte Dunham

Charlotte Dunham came into highways in 2008 starting as a highways inspector on a local government contract, now Schemes Delivery Manager – Milestone.

Throughout the period in various roles in local government highways - from 2011 to 2022 (with the exception of one year) has been fully involved in winter service from an operational perspective - driving gritting vehicles for a full ten seasons.

Now, taking the physical experience gained over the years in the operational role is part of the decision-making team for the 23/24 season and remains involved in the operational aspect of driving - providing cover where required.

Charlotte is keen to share her operational experiences from the years and help encourage others to get involved in the role where you’d least expect to find a female!
