Head of Local Highways Policy, Department for Transport

Matt is the Head of Local Highways Policy at the Department for Transport. He joined the Highways team in 2019 and has a keen focus on encouraging innovation in the highways sector. Prior to this, Matt worked on automated and connected vehicle policy and regulation and was a private secretary for successive Transport Ministers at the DfT.
