Our smartphone-based road monitoring system for effective condition evaluation, DRIMS, harnesses IRI and AI to identify the location, grading and mapping of road conditions and defects. DRIMS generates detailed data and reports which are then used to establish the type and location of repairs required, whilst also assessing the road’s overall surface quality which allows to plan for detailed inspections, preventative maintenance work or to support larger asset management applications.
