Low Carbon Materials (LCM) is a climate tech company focusing on developing low-carbon material alternatives in the race to Net-Zero. LCM designs and manufactures innovative materials that can counteract the emissions associated with the production of carbon-intensive asphalt. ACLA® is a carbon-negative aggregate that is being tested with National Highways and Skanska. We have also partnered with DCC and MGL Group to deliver County Durham's first-ever net zero asphalt scheme. LCM has been recognised by the prestigious Earthshot Prize, a global award that celebrates the most innovative solutions to protect and restore our planet.
