Head Of Operations , Welsh Government / Llywodraeth CymruGareth is the Head of Operations at the Welsh Government, leading on the overall day-to-day maintenance and operation of the strategic road network within Wales on behalf of Welsh Ministers.
He is the client lead for the two trunk road agents who employ over 500 employees and are responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the strategic road network in Wales.
Gareth is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. He has over 25 years highway experience covering both private and public sectors working for consultants, contractors and agents.
He has a track record of key capital programme and project delivery and more recently leading the multi-disciplinary teams for the maintenance and operation for the strategic road network.
