With 12 years’ experience in the solar industry, Guy specializes in solar car park solutions and has been involved in many of the largest canopy projects in the UK, with clients including many of the world’s most prestigious automotive manufacturers. In addition to this, Guy has recently worked on local authority projects such as Broxden Park & Ride and North Devon Councils’ recent installation at Exe Valley Leisure Centre.
Guy's passion for turning car parks into power stations to provide green power and reduce carbon emissions is evident in his ability to transform a field or existing car park into a solar car parking facility with ease.
Guy and the team at SIG Building Solutions provide conceptual overviews, including budget costs, to principal contractors to transform old and new car parks into EV charging hubs using solar canopy support structures on a daily basis. The team are currently working on a wide variety of projects for Councils, the automotive industry, airports and large energy users in the Commercial and Industrial markets.
