Chris Rimmer

Chris is the Head of Department in Cenex’s Policy, Strategy and Implementation department.  Having worked on Connected Homes at E.ON for a number of years, he lead Cenex’s Infrastructure Strategy work for 5 years, advising councils, charities, companies and countries on how to get the right number of chargepoints of the right type in the right places.  He now leads a team of experts in fleet, mobility and infrastructure.

Previously, he led the Innovate UK-sponsored EV-elocity and Cenex’s involvement in the E-Flex V2G projects.  He now oversees Cenex’s involvement in the OZEV-funded LEVI Support Body, and has recently completed a feasibility study into dynamic wireless charging. 

When not thinking about Electric Vehicle infrastructure, he is an active member of his local church, loves walking in the Peak District and spending time with his family.
