Iain McDonald

Iain has worked in the ITS sector for around 30 years in all areas of the UK, Asia and South America. Predominantly working in the permanent and temporary traffic signals sector. He has also been involved in highways comms projects and ITS system solutions.

Iain is, in addition to his role as Business Development Director at SRL, a executive board member of the Association of Road Traffic Safety and Management (ARTSM) and has chaired three of their working groups.

Now working with the SRL technical team to develop and implement traffic control systems for temporary applications that will assist with the reduction of environmental impact and reduce manpower requirements on sites and increase safety by reducing staff exposure to live traffic conditions.
