Executive Director, Institute of Asphalt TechnologyLyle Andrew is Executive Director of the Institute of Asphalt Technology having been on Council since 2009 including Chair of their Membership Review Panel for 7 years.
A Fellow of the Institute of Highway Engineers and Fellow of the Institute of Asphalt Technology, Lyle has been in the Quarrying and Asphalt industry since 1987, and held several Technical, Commercial and Management positions including at Board level.
He has also sat on a number of industry committees within trade organisations, gaining a broad insight into various aspects of the industry, offering opinion freely and promoting quality and technical compliance. He is also a Trustee of Lantra and Chair of Upskill UK Ltd.
Lyle is Director and shareholder of a small business supplying products to the asphalt industry throughout the UK and Ireland.

- A look at how lane rental schemes can be used to fund innovation and improve the quality of reinstatements.
- Discussing routes to improving the quality or accessibility of records about the location of underground pipes, wires, and other apparatus.
- Analysing the importance of quality control throughout the maintenance process and the need for strong regulation to ensure this.
